Saul Flores, MD, is a Cardiac Intensivist and Cardiologist at Texas Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor at Baylor college of Medicine. Dr. Flores completed his training in cardiology, critical care, and cardiac critical care at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Flores' research focuses on understanding stress response mechanisms after cardiopulmonary bypass for cardiac surgery in children, focusing on the interaction between cortisol and thyroid hormone and its receptors.
