** In order to be entitled to an exemption from the registration fee, in addition to being 70 years old, the member must be up to date with his annual contributions paid to the SBP, uninterruptedly, over the last 10 years preceding the date of the application. The procedure follows the same rules for annuity exemption, as described in article 9 of the SBP Bylaws.

RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS

I - REGISTRATION

Attention: Please fill in your registration form with a valid email address, once all communication regarding the congress will be sent to such email address.

1. Payment can only be made through PayPal, according to the amounts and due dates laid out on the table.
   • PayPal
     Please fill in the on-line registration form and make your payment through PayPal. After PayPal validates the payment you will receive an email (address used at the registration form – in case you do not receive an email, check your "spam" folder).
2. We can only assure that pre-registered participants will receive printed material (folder, scientific program, and proceedings).
3. Printed material for registrations made at the venue will depend on availability
4. International registrations will be accepted as reservations. In order to assure you will get your printed material, confirmation should be made at the local office within 24 hours before the event starts, through payment using national currency and according to the table of fees in force on the day the registration is confirmed.
5. The receipt, with the event promoting agency official data and issued by the registration system, is the congress official document.
6. Only registered participants can obtain the printed material at the congress venue.

II - FUNDS CITATION

Funds citations will not be accepted as registrations.

III - CANCELLATION / REFUND

1. Cancellation requests must be formalized through an email, which should be sent to the Congress Secretary.
2. Amounts paid will be refunded for canceled registrations within 60 days before the event or according to article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code at any time, provided the request is made in up to 7 days after payment is confirmed.
3. Withdrawal or cancellation requests made after the deadline set forth by art. 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (CDC) will not be refunded.
4. Refund will be available within 30 days after the end of the event, being that 30% of the amount paid will be retained, except in those cases provided by art. 49, sole paragraph of the CDC, in which case refund will be made within 2 business days.
5. There will be no refund for registrations made in an incorrect category, except for cases provided by art 49 of the CDC.
6. No show at the event will not be refunded.
7. Duplicated registrations will be returned according to the deadline set and only after the effective proof of duplicity is received.
8. Refunds will be made directly to a bank current account that is owned by the participant.
9. Under no circumstances refunds that do not comply with the rules set forth above will be made.
